Pearl Millet Roti (Bajra na rotla) Recipe. millet-based roti's and i feel it very pale. but these recipes are my husband's favourite and he likes it to have it with dry chutney powders or spice powders and thick yoghurt. he likes to have bajra roti for morning breakfast as it keeps him full till afternoon lunch and can have something lite. i personally like. Bajra Na Rotla also known as Bajra Roti is a plain and simple flat bread made from pearl millet flour.

Ingredients of Pearl Millet Roti (Bajra na rotla)
- Prepare 2 cups of Bajra flour.
- Make ready As needed of Water for binding.
- Take As needed of Butter.
Divide the dough into equal portions.I rolled it on rolling pin.Roast it on earthen tawa for best result.Pearl millet/Bajra is a rich source of proteins, B complex vitamins and minerals.

- Add water to the flour and knead the dough. Keep kneading for some time until you feel that dough is smooth..
- Divide the dough into big pedas. Spread little flour on chakla. Take one portion and roll it on chakla using hand. Make sure that roti does not stick on chalka. If it happens, add some flour again..
- Make a medium sized roti..
- Heat the sand tawa on high flame and when the tawa is hot, place the rotla gently over it. Cook on low flame..
- Turn over the rotla and cook on the other side on medium flame..
- Cook the rotla directly on the gas once the other side is cooked. Cook till it puffs up..
- Rotla is ready. Serve it with makkhan and jaggery. Enjoy!!.
