Ingredients of Ragi millet chapathi

  1. Take As required of Lukewarm water.
  2. It’s 1 teaspoon of Ghee.
  3. Prepare 200 grams of ragi powder.
  4. Prepare 100 grams of wheat powder.
  5. Take 1 teaspoon of salt.

This chapathi is one way in which i add ragi flour and i must say, besides the fact that its. ragi roti- easy & soft ragi roti made of ragi flour(finger millets).Its a diabetic friendly & gluten free recipe,also Ragi roti is also popularly called as ragi chapati, nachni ki roti and finger millet flat bread.Ragi has low Glycemic Index which makes it digest very slowly thus keeping the blood sugar levels constant.Sanjeeta…I use millet all the time…however, not quite this 'Ragi' that you speak of.

Ragi millet chapathi instructions

  1. First we have to take a pan and add water to make little hot and off the flame. Add salt, ghee wheat powder and ragi millet powder mix it well and knead it to make a soft dough.Then keep the dough cover for a 30 minutes..
  2. Then take a dough and again knead it.And make a small small ball of a dough..
  3. Take a chapatti roller and put little ragi flour and keep the small ball of dough.
  4. Start to roll a chapatti from small ball of dough.Take a frying pan on the flame make it hot put the chapatti on it.once it put get hot turn over the chapatti and again for a minute turnover it.And soft chapatti is ready..
  5. You can put little ghee over the chapatti..

Add salt and water to the flour and knead it into soft dough.Toast the chapathi on a preheated pan.Ragi or finger millet is a favorite here in my house and i try to add as much of it as possible in our daily diet.
