Ingredients of Murgh musallam

  1. Take 2 kgs of Chicken.
  2. Prepare 6 tbsp of Oil.
  3. Make ready 3 of Onions.
  4. Take 3 of Tomatoes.
  5. It’s 15 - 20 of Almonds.
  6. You need 6 - 10 of Cashew nuts.
  7. It’s 1 tbsp of Poppy seeds (khus khus).
  8. You need 1 tbsp of Cumin seeds.
  9. Make ready 2 tsp of Ginger garlic paste.
  10. It’s 2 tsp of Red chilli powder.
  11. It’s 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.
  12. You need 1 tsp of Blackpepper powder.
  13. It’s 1 tsp of Coriander powder.
  14. It’s 1 tsp of Cumin powder.
  15. Prepare 1 tsp of Garam masala powder.
  16. It’s 1 cup of Curd.
  17. It’s As per taste of Salt.
  18. Take 4 tbsp of Fresh cream.
  19. Make ready 2 tbsp of Butter.
  20. Make ready 1/2 tbsp of Coriander leaves.
  21. You need 2 slits of Green chillies.

  1. Blanch almonds to remove skin..
  2. Dry roast Almonds and cashewnut. When they begin to brown add Cumin seeds, poppy seeds. Roast till poppy seeds turn brown..
  3. Add some water and grind to form a paste..
  4. Heat oil in a non stick kadhai. To it add onions, ginger garlic paste. When the onions become translucent. Stir fry till onions begin to brown..
  5. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, Coriander powder, blackpepper powder, cumin powder and salt..
  6. Add tomatoes and then add some water. Close the lid and cook till the tomatoes dissolve and disappear..
  7. Add the almond poppy seeds paste made earlier. Cook till oil starts to ooze from the sides..
  8. Add curd and cook for 2 mins..
  9. Add chicken pieces. Add some water. Close the lid and cook till chicken becomes tender..
  10. Add fresh cream, butter, coriander leaves and green chillies. Cook for 2 mins. Murgh musallam is ready to be served..
