Multi Millets Rotla Recipe. Traditional, Gujarati / Rajasthani cuisine recipe. Healthy flatbread recipe.made from pearl millet / white millet flours and bind with water, kneaded into soft dough and gently pat on flat thali with hands into round rotis.

Ingredients of Multi Millets Rotla
- It’s 2 tbsp of pearl millet/bajra flour.
- It’s 2 tbsp of white millet/ jowar flour.
- It’s 2 tbsp of ragi/ nachini flour.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of barnyard millet/ Sama rice flour.
- It’s 2 tbsp of finely chopped fresh coriander leaves.
- Prepare 1 tsp of green chillies ginger paste.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.
- You need 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
- Prepare 1 tsp of dhania jeera powder.
- Take to taste of Salt.
- You need As required of Water to bind.

- You need As required of White butter/ Makhan(homemade).
- Make ready As required of Bijora pickle (optional).
Mixed millet drink premixes and other similar products are prepared by adding ingredients such as foxtail millet, proso millet, barnyard millet, little millet, kodo millet, green gram (mung bean), and spices such as cardamom, cashew, and almond in various proportions, after appropriate pretreatment (malting, roasting) of the grains.Bajra flour is nutritious, and rotla can be made in no time.Raw white onion is eaten with Rotla, Olo and daal.Making rotla is a little difficult.
Multi Millets Rotla step by step
- In flat big thali add all mentioned millet flours, coriander leaves, green chillies ginger paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dhania jeera powder salt and mix well..
- Add little little water in it and bind/ knead into soft dough..
- Rub this prepared dough few times to make smooth dough, with you palm heel as shown(if dough is thick add 1-2 tbsp water).
- Heat griddle on slow flame. Knead prepared dough and divide into 2 equal portions,made round flatten ball. Roll in dry bajra flour and pat gently on thali into 5"-6" round thick roti..
- Place it on hot tawa roast on slow flame for 1 minute,flip and roast till lower sides get fully roasted(Brown spots will be seen). Pick it up with tong and place it on open flame, it will fluff up after few seconds. Again Flip with tongs as all sides get roasted. Remove from flame. Similarly prepare another Rotlo..
