Ingredients of Chicken Cafreal

  1. It’s 1 kilogram of chicken (cut into big pieces).
  2. You need 2 inch of ginger.
  3. You need 8 cloves of garlic.
  4. Make ready 5 of green chilies.
  5. You need 1 teaspoon of turmeric.
  6. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of pepper seeds.
  7. Take cloves of 5.
  8. You need 1 cup of green coriander.
  9. Prepare 1/2 tablespoon of poppy seeds (soak in water)(kuskus).
  10. You need 2 of lemons.
  11. Make ready 3 of onions.
  12. You need 30 milli liters of vinegar.
  13. Take 8-10 of cashew nuts.
  14. Take 1 tablespoon of tamarind.
  15. Prepare 1/2 tablespoon of cumin seeds.
  16. Take 1 tablespoon of garam masala powder.
  17. You need 1/2 tablespoon of sugar.
  18. Make ready 1 of capsicum or green pepper.
  19. It’s to taste of salt.
  20. Take of water.
  21. It’s 50 milli liters of oil for frying.

Chicken Cafreal instructions

  1. Make a paste of ginger, garlic, green chilies, pepper powder, cloves, green coriander, 2 onions, cashew nuts, tamrind, poppy seeds, cumin seeds and garam masala powder..
  2. Apply turmeric, salt, lemon to the chicken and then add the green blended paste and marinate for a minimum of 2 hours..

  4. Move the left over gravy from the marinade to a pot, add some water, vinegar, sugar, bring to boil for a couple of minutes, then add fried chicken, stir and heat for 8 - 10 minutes on medium flame in a covered pot..
  5. Switch off the heat and Garnish with capsicum, sliced onion and cover the pot, the steam will cook and soften the capsicum and onion..
  6. Serve hot with a quarter cut lime and Goan wheat bread -.
