- cook shells according to box directions.
- preheat oven to 350; cook ground beef, onion and garlic until lightly browned..
- drain excess fat.
- combine mozzarella, cottage and parmesan cheese along with, Basil,salt&pepper, and egg in a bowl. Add the beef, onion and garlic mixture to this.
- in a 13X9 dish spread about 1 cup of the sauce on the bottom. fill the shells and put in the pan. if you need another pan a 8X8 held the extras.
- pour the extra filling over shells then pour the remaining sauce over shells..
- bake for about 1 hour 15 minutes or until cooked through.
