Ingredients of Butter Chicken (Indian)

  1. Prepare 1 kg of chicken.
  2. It’s 3 of onions minced.
  3. You need 3 of tomatoes pureed.
  4. It’s 2 tbsp of tomato paste.
  5. Prepare 3 tbsp of butter.
  6. Make ready 1 1/2 tsp of garlic paste.
  7. Take 1 1/2 tsp of ginger paste.
  8. Make ready 3 tsp of coriander powder.
  9. It’s 2 tsp of chicken masala powder.
  10. Prepare 1 large of pinch of dried fenugreek leaves.
  11. Make ready 2 cup of milk.
  12. Take 4 tbsp of pureed cashewnut paste (soak & grind cashewnuts).
  13. It’s 2 tsp of tumeric powder.
  14. Make ready 1 of salt to taste.

Butter Chicken (Indian) instructions

  1. Heat a large pan, add butter, heat a little then add the minced onions. Fry until golden brown..
  2. Add the ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, tumeric powder and salt. Fry for about 1 minute..
  3. Add the pureed tomatoes + tomato paste & cook for 3-4 minutes until mixture forms bubbles uniformly..
  4. Throw in the dried fenugreek leaves, milk & chicken. Cook covered until chicken is tender..
  5. Open lid & cook further..
  6. When done, add the chicken masala powder & the cashewnut paste..
  7. Give it a good stir till everythingis properly mixed. But don't boil..
  8. Adjust salt..
  9. Serving suggestion: Vegetable Fried Rice. (Recipe in my profile).
