Ingredients of Chana dal pakora
- Prepare 1 cup of chana dal.
- It’s 2 tbsp of finely chopped Spring onion.
- Take 1 of onion finely chooped.
- You need 5 of garlic cloves.
- It’s 1 of Green chilli.
- It’s 1 inch of ginger.
- Make ready 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.
- Take 1 tsp of Dry mango powder.
- Make ready 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
- Make ready 1 tsp of fennel seeds.
- Make ready to taste of Salt.
- You need 1 tbsp of gram flour.
- Take Pinch of asafoetida.
- It’s as needed of Oil for frying.

- Heat oil in a pan or kadai to fry the pakoda. Take a small portion of the batter either with hands or with a spoon and put it into the pan. Put 5-6 as many pakoda as you can at one time.cooked, turn over with a slotted spoon and continue to fry..
- Deep fry on a medium flame.fry till they become crisp and golden brown..
- Drain out on paper towel for excess oil to be absorbed. Fry all the pakodas in the same manner..
- Garnish with some spring onion and Serve immediately with green chutney and tomato sauce..
