  1. In a microwavable bowl mix well chana, pumpkin, turmeric and salt. Cook for 5 mins in microwave..
  2. In a pan heat oil and add panch Phutan. Let it splutter..
  3. Fry green chilli and onion till golden brown..
  4. Add ginger, garlic, red chilli powder and tomato puree..
  5. Cook in low med flame till oil separated..
  6. Add 1 tbsp water to the pan, curry powder, dhania and zeera powder. Cook till water evaporates..
  7. Now mix boiled chana dal +pumpkin and a cup of water..
  8. Mix well, cover and cook for 2 mins. Add garam masala and kasoori methi..
