Serve veg momos hot with momos chutney or red chilli-garlic chutney, spicy schezwan sauce or tomato sauce. They also go best with a spicy sauce and should be eaten hot.
Here is the best “Veg Momos” recipe we have found until now. This will be smell and look delicious.
Ingredients of Veg Momos
- Prepare 2 cups of all-purpose flour.
- Prepare 2-3 teaspoon of refined oil.
- Take to taste of Salt.
- It’s as Required of Lukewarm Water.
- Prepare of For the stuffings.
- Make ready 1 of small cabbage (Grated).
- Take 2 of onions (minced).
- You need 10-15 of Garlic cloves (minced).
- It’s 2-3 teaspoon of refined oil.
- Take 1-2 of Chillies.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder.
- It’s to taste of Salt.
- You need 1/2 teaspoon of Soya sauce.
- Prepare of For the chutneys.
- It’s 2 of tomatoes boiled.
- You need 1 of garlic.
- You need 2 teaspoon of Mustard oil.
- Take to taste of Salt.
- You need Pinch of black pepper.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of dried red Chillies.
- Prepare 1 bunch of Coriander leaves.
- Take 1 bunch of Mint.
- Make ready 4-5 of green chillies.

Veg Momos instructions
- At first mix the flour, salt, refined oil with lukewarm water knead it & make a dough. And keep it aside..
- Grate the cabbage,salt, black pepper garlic, soya sauce and mince the onions and cook in 1 teaspoon oil for 5-7mins and cover with a lid in a low flame. After few minutes take off the lid and heat for few minutes. And then keep it aside..
- Chutneys - for the red chutney, in mixer grinder put the boiled tomatoes, black pepper, salt, oil, dried red chillies, garlic and grind it. And it's ready. For the Green chutney, in the mixer grinder put the coriander, mint, garlic, green chillies, salt, oil & Grind it. And it's ready..
- Now, take the dough from step 1 and make small balls and flatten the balls, put the stuffings inside and Roll the dough thin (translucent) and cut into rounds. Take a round, wet edges and place some filling in the center. Bring the edges together. Twist to seal and fill the rest in the same way. And put on the momo Equipment and grease the perforated plate with oil before placing the momos. And cover the lid..
- For the soup -put water, minced garlic cloves, black pepper powder, salt and coriander leaves minced. And put it on the lower section of the equipment..
- Now, steam the momos for 15-20mins in medium flame. And the momos are ready..
