Ingredients of Kaddu ki khatti meethi sabji
- You need 1/2 of Pumpkin.
- It’s 1/2 of Raw mango.
- Take 2 tbsp of mustard oil.
- It’s 1 tsp of Indian five spices-(nigella seeds, cumin seeds, Fennel seeds, mustard seeds, Fenugreek seeds).
- Prepare 1 of dry red chilli.
- Make ready 2-3 of green chillies.
- Prepare 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
- It’s 1 tsp of cumin powder.
- It’s 1 tsp of coriander powder.
- Prepare 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
- Take To taste of Salt.
- It’s 1-2 tsp of sugar.
- You need 1 tbsp of Water.

Kaddu ki khatti meethi sabji instructions
- Cut the half pumpkin and half raw mango into small pieces and wash it well..
- Then prepare the tempering which includes Panch Phoran (kalonji,jeera,methi,saron,saunf) and one dry red chilli..
- Now heat mustard oil in a Kadhai and add the tempering(Panch phoran and dry red chilli).
- Now add chopped pumpkin and raw mango and green chillies and let it fry for 3 mins..
- After 3 mins add the spices and sugar..
- Saute it well for 5-8 mins till the pumpkin and raw mango becomes soft and little mashy..
- Add a little bit of water and cook it for another 2 mins and let it dry and then it's ready to eat..
