Ingredients of Surmai Kingfish gravy
- Prepare 4/5 pieces of Kingfish or Surmai.
- Make ready 2 of onion finely chopped.
- Make ready 2 tablespoons of grated ginger and garlic.
- Make ready 3/4 of Aamsol or kokum.
- Make ready 2 tablespoons of Oil.
- It’s to taste of Salt.
- Make ready 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
- Prepare 2 tablespoons of chilli powder.
- Make ready 1 teaspoon of corinder powder.
- Take 1 tablespoon of fish or garam masala.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Corinder leaves for garnishing.
Surmai Kingfish gravy instructions
- Marinate the fish after washing it properly with turmeric powder,chilli powder and salt as given in the ingredients for one hour.
- In a pan heat Two tablespoons of oil and add very finely chopped onions,grated ginger and garlic And two green chilles..Add very little water and cook.
- Add the marinated fish pieces..Now add corinder powder and fish masala one tablespoon.
- Add kokum around 2/3 pieces and wen the fish is cooked..garnish with corinder leaves.
