Ingredients of Swedish Meatballs
- Take of MEATBALLS.
- You need 3/4 lb of lean ground beef.
- You need 3/4 lb of ground pork.

- Prepare 1 of slice sour dough bread, crusts renoved and made into fresh crumbs in the food processor.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of cream, heavy, Iight or half and half.
- It’s 1 tsp of salt.
- You need 1 tsp of cajun seasoning.
- Take 1 tbsp of sour cream.
- Prepare 1/4 cup of romano cheese, grated.
- Take 1 tsp of baking powder ( makes the meatballs very tender and light ).
- It’s 1/4 tsp of granulated garlic.
- You need 1 tsp of grated fresh onion.
- It’s 1/4 tsp of allspice.
- You need 2 tbsp of fresh chopped parsley.
- You need of SAUCE.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of all-purpose flour.
- It’s 1 tbsp of butter, salted or unsalted.
- Prepare 1 1/2 cup of low sodium chicken broth.
- Prepare 1 1/2 cup of low sodium beef broth.
- It’s 1 cup of heavy cream.
- Take 2 tsp of fresh lemon juice.
- You need 2 tbsp of dry white wine.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Dijon mustard.
- You need 1 tbsp of tomato ketchup.
- You need 1 tsp of tamari soy sauce.
- You need 1/4 tsp of black pepper.
- Take 1 tsp of hot sauce, such as Franks brand.
- Make ready 4 of green onions, sliced.
- You need 2 tbsp of fresh chopped parsley.
- Make ready of SAUTEING MEATBALLS.
- You need 2 tbsp of olive oil.

- MAKE MEATBALLS.

- In pan meatballs were cooked add butter to any drippings and melt, whisk in flour, cook 2 minutes, add both broths while whisking, bring to a boil and cook to a .smooth sauce, add remaining ingredients EXCEPT green onions and parsley. Cook until a nice sauce consistency about 5 minutes.
- Add parsley and green onions and cook 1 minute.
- Return the meatballs to the sauce in skillet, cook on low about 15 minutes, covered..
- Serve as is an appetizer, or also delicious on pasta rice or potatoes.
