Ingredients of Maharashtrian Tambda Rassa (Kolhapuri Style Spicy Chicken Curry)
- Make ready 500 gms of Chicken.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of Coriander leaves paste.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Garlic paste.
- Take 1 tsp of Ginger paste.
- You need 1 tsp of Green chilli paste.
- It’s of Making paste.
- Take 2 tbsp of Grated coconut.
- It’s 6-7 pieces of Cashew nuts.
- You need 1 tbsp of Poppy seeds.
- Take Some of whole spices like 3-4 cardamom, 3-4 cloves, 1-2 cinnamon, 1 tsp shahi zeera.
- Make ready of Making Curry:-.
- You need 2 tbsp of Oil.
- You need 1/2 cup of Tomato chopped.
- Prepare to taste of Salt.
- You need 1 tbsp of Kashmiri red mirch.
- Make ready 1 tsp of Cumin powder.
- Take 1 tsp of Coriander powder.
- Prepare For garnishing of Chopped Coriander leaves.
Maharashtrian Tambda Rassa (Kolhapuri Style Spicy Chicken Curry) step by step
- In a large mixing bowl marinate the chicken with Coriander paste,garlic paste,ginger paste,green chilli paste & little salt. Marinated it for atleast 1 hour..
- Makiing paste:-In a mixer grinder add coconut,cashew nuts,poppy seeds & whole spices and blend it very smoothly..
- Making Curry:-Heat oil in a pan add tomato and saute..
- Then add the paste and saute. Add salt,red chilli powder,cumin powder,Coriander powder and saute..
- Add marinated chicken and mix it. Cover and cook 5-6 mins & then add water and stir..
- Cook it till the chicken is completely cooked..
- Garnished with chopped Coriander and serve hot..
