Ingredients of Sizzling Punjabi Chicken Biryani
- Prepare 1/2 kg of chicken.
- Prepare 1 bowl of basmati rice.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Garlic and ginger paste.
- You need 2 of large tomatoes.
- It’s 3 of large potatoes.
- It’s leaves of Curry.
- It’s leaves of Pudina.
- It’s 5 tbsp of oil.
- Take 2 tsp of chicken masala.
- Prepare 1 tsp of dhania powder.
- Take 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.
- You need 2 tsp of red chilli powder.
- Take 1 tsp of chilli flakes.
- It’s 1/2 tsp of biryani masala.
- Prepare As needed of Cashew nuts (for garnishing).

Sizzling Punjabi Chicken Biryani instructions
- Firstly boil your chicken.. Take a clean big utensil. In that add 5 tbsp oil.. Till then chop the onions into medium size pieces..
- When the oil is heated, add chopped onions. Sotte them until they are translucent..
- After the onions are cooked, add ginger garlic paste….
- Now add all the above-mentioned masala (in given quantity). Stir the masala's well….
- Now add the boiled chicken in the utensil. Sotte it and add tomato puree above the chicken…. Cook until it's half done. Cover the utensil tightly..
- Now prepare the steam rice on the other hand…….
- Open the lid of chicken, add pudina leaves into it and stir well….
- Add the steamed rice onto the chicken and spread it all over the utensil..
- Put some Curry leaves and cashew nuts up of the rice….(for garnishing)…
- Keep charcoal up of the rice for flavouring…..
- Keep it on the low flame for at least 10 mins or so….
- And it's ready…. Your yummy, tasty, Punjabi Chicken Biryani.
