Hello everybody, welcome to my recipe site. Today I’m gonna show you a way to prepare a special dish, Sweet Vermicelli Porridge !!!. This is one of my favourite food recipe, this time i will make it a little bit tasty. This will be smell and look delicious.

Sweet Vermicelli Porridge !!! Recipe. Vermicelli is a kind of very fine flour noodles. You can get a packet of vermicelli from any neighborhood store.

Ingredients of Sweet Vermicelli Porridge !!!

  1. It’s 3 cup of Boiled Milk.
  2. Prepare 2 cup of Boiled hot Water.
  3. You need 1/2 cup of Roasted Vermicelli.
  4. It’s 1 tbsp of ghee (clarified butter).
  5. Take 12 tsp of Sugar (Add more if required).
  6. Make ready 4 tsp of Condensed Milk.
  7. It’s 1/4 cup of of Cashew, raisin, crushed cardomom and cloves.
  8. Make ready 1 tsp of Cinnamon powder (optional).

A small portion is therefore recommended.Meethi Seviyan/ Sweet Vermicelli is a delicious Indian dessert made with seviyan (whole wheat vermicelli), ghee, milk, dry fruits and sugar.In this recipe i have replaced refined sugar with jaggery powder.Meethi Seviyan is usually served on special occasions and during festivals like Eid.

Sweet Vermicelli Porridge !!! step by step

  1. In a deep bottom pan heat the ghee and add Roasted vermicelli and saute well . (1 min or so will be enough).
  2. To this add add water and milk and then sugar, Cashew, raisin , cardomom and cloves and let it boil. Keep stirring the pot ! (no pun intended :D).
  3. After boiling , let it simmer on a low flame and keep stirring till the vermicilli is cooked well. you may add more milk in case it dry up, the vermicilli has a tendency to soak up the liquid. Taste and if required add more sugar.
  4. finally add the condensed milk and stir to mix it well. This gives the porridge a thick and delicious feel… :).
  5. Put of the flame and serve in a desert bowl..
  6. The best thing abt this dish is that it can be served hot or chilled (after refrigerating for a few hours) :) mmmm… i love it.
  7. add cinnamon powder on top while serving, if you are a cinnamon lover.
