Ingredients of Chinese Egg Chat
- You need 3 of boiled egg.
- Prepare Handful of Coriander leaves (chopped) for garnishing.
- Take As required of Oil to cook.
- Prepare 1/2 tbsp of Vinegar.
- You need 1/4 tbsp of Soy Sauce.
- Prepare 1/2 tbsp of Tomato Ketchup.
- Prepare 1 pinch of Red chilli powder.
- Make ready 1 pinch of Turmeric powder.
- Make ready to taste of Salt.
- You need For of filling-.
- It’s 1/4 cup of finely chopped cabbage.
- It’s 1/4 cup of grated carrot.
- You need 1/4 cup of finely chopped capsicum.
- Prepare 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion.
- Take 1 of Garlic clove (finely chopped).
Chinese Egg Chat step by step
- Peel the boiled eggs, cut into halves and separate yellow parts..
- Take a pan, pour some oil, add pinch of turmeric and red chilli powder and place the egg whites to shallow fry them..
- Once it turns slightly golden in colour. Remove it from the pan..
- Now, in the same pan, pour some oil again (if required, about 1/2 tbsp), add chopped garlic till it becomes light brown..
- Now, add chopped onion and saute it for around 2 mins and then add all the chopped vegetables..
- Add soy sauce, vinegar and tomato ketchup and salt and saute it for 5 mins on medium to high flame. Make sure to toss it now and then..
- Once done switched off the gas and keep this mixture aside..
- Take a plate, place the fried eggs and fill it with the mixture. And it's ready to serve your kids with tomato ketchup or mint chutney..
