  2. Make ready 1 of Onion.

  4. You need 3 of chilly Green.

  7. Prepare 1 cup of Water.

Tilapia in Mustard gravy step by step

  1. Marinate the fish pieces with turmeric,lemon juice,salt and pepper for 15 mins..
  2. Make a paste of sliced onions,tomatoes and garlic..
  3. Make another paste of garlic,mustard seeds and green chilies..
  4. In a pan,heat the oil and fry the fish pieces lightly and remove the excess oil from fish..
  5. In the same pan,add the purees and stir well till the raw smell goes..
  6. Add pinch of turmeric,salt,enough pepper and chilly powder..
  7. Mix till all the water is evaporated and the masala dries..
  8. Sprinkle some garam masala and add some water..
  9. Now drop in the fried fish pieces into this curry and add enough water.Let it cook..
  10. Stir occasionally and gently without breaking the fish pieces..
  11. Garnish with some cilantro and serve hot with rice..
