- Prepare 1 cup of Gram flour (besan).
- It’s 1 of potato chopped.
- Take 3/4 tsp of Carom seeds (ajwain).
- Make ready 1/2 of medium Onion finely chopped.
- Make ready 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.
- Prepare to taste of Salt.
- It’s 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.
- You need As needed of mustard oil.
- You need of For kadhi.
- You need 4 tbsp of Gram flour (besan).
- Make ready 1 1/2 cup of Yoghurt sour.
- Take 1 tsp of Cumin seeds.

- Firstly to prepare the pakora mix all the ingredients mentioned for pakoras and make a thick batter..
- Fry these in the form of round pakoras in hot mustard oil..

- Now let’s prepare the kadi. Put mustard oil in a kadai and let it burn..
- Turn off the flame and add dry masala ingredients (fenugreek,coriander seeds, ajwain, asofodia, cumin,dried red chillies) and let them splutter..
- In a separate bowl add yoghurt, besan, salt,red chillie,turmeric powder,garam masala and blend it with a hand blender..
- Add this mixture into the kadai with 2 cups of water..
- Switch on the flame and keep stirring till a boil..
- Let it simmer and cook for around 1 hour. Keep stirring in between..
- Now time to add the pakoras..
- Let it boil for another 15-20minutes..
- Make a tarka in a pan with desi ghee and red chillies..
- Put tarka over the kadi.Also sprinkle some fresh coriander according to choice..
- Serve with steamed rice and chopped onions..
