Aloo khichdi is a simple recipe made without any cereal or pulses but with 'parsai ke chawal', which are often used in the fasting meals, combined with potatoes, cumin, cloves, cardamoms and cinnamon, salt and chilli powder. Aloo ki khichdi, besides being a delicious lunch meal can also be made if you are fasting on any.
