Ingredients of Aamras
- It’s 2 of large mangoes preferably Alphonso.
- Make ready 1/4 cup of milk (optional).
- It’s 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar or as per the sweetness of the mangoes.
- Make ready 5 strands of saffron / kesar.
- You need 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom powder.
- You need 1 sprig of Mint leaves.
- You need 1 cup of Ice cubes.

Aamras step by step
- Rinse the mangoes(alphonso), peel and chop them..
- Put the mango pieces in a blender jar. Add powdered sugar and saffron strands.
- Blend the mangoes to smooth pulp..
- To thin down the aamras, add milk.(optional).
- Pour in small bowls and chill in refrigerator for 15 minutes..
- Garnish with saffron strands and mint sprig and serve it chilled.
