Aamras, a ripe mango puree, is a popular sweet cum dessert enjoyed during the months of Summer and it is one of the very easy to prepare dessert at short notice - just crush ripe mango pieces, few ice cubes, milk and couple of spoons of sugar in a mixer and your treat is ready. Aamras is nothing but the flavored mango pulp or puree.

Ingredients of Almond Mango and Kesar Aamras
- Take 1/2 kg of Alphonso Mango pulp.
- You need 1/2 cup of Almonds Soaked for 1 hr.
- Make ready 1/2 cup of Warm milk.
- Make ready Few strands of Saffron.
Summer is on its peak and our local market is already flooded with best qualities of alphonso mangoes.Also aamras is generally of a thick consistency, but a little water or milk can be added to make it slightly thinner and serve as a drink.In India, various varieties of mango like alphonso, kesar, badam, bangapalli etc. are used to prepare this dish.Generally sweet, ripe and juicy varieties of mango work best for this dish.

- Remove the skin of Almonds.
- Soak saffron in warm milk and keep aside..
- Adding little water,grind the Almonds to make Almond milk.
- In a mixi jar,add mango pulp, Almond milk and blend for 2 mins..
- Add Kesar strands.
- Delicious Aamras is Ready to serve.
- It's Yummy.
