Ingredients of Chilli Chicken Gravy

  2. It’s 2 of large onions coarsely chopped.
  3. Prepare 2 of green capsicum large coarsely chopped.
  4. Make ready 1 of big garlic finely chopped.
  5. Take 5 stalks of spring onions finely chopped.
  6. Take 2-4 of vertically slit green chillies.
  7. Prepare 2 tbsp of sunflower oil.
  8. Prepare 1 tsp of ajwain.
  9. Prepare 1 tsp of mustard seeds.
  10. Take 1 tbsp of soya sauce.
  11. Prepare 1 tbsp of red chilli sauce.
  12. Make ready 1 tbsp of tomato sauce.
  13. Take 1 tsp of sugar.
  14. Make ready 2 tsp of chilli powder.
  15. Prepare To taste of Salt.
  16. Prepare 2 cups of water mixed with 1 tsp cornflour.
  17. You need of For the marinade:-.
  18. You need 2 cups of curd.
  19. Make ready 1 tsp of turmeric.
  20. Make ready 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
  21. It’s 1 tsp of salt.
  22. It’s 1 tsp of garam masala.
  23. You need 1 tsp of red food coloring.
  24. You need 500 GMs of boneless chicken breast cut in cubes.
  25. Prepare 1 cup of maida.
  26. It’s 1 cup of corn flour.
  27. You need as needed of Oil for deep frying.

Chilli Chicken Gravy instructions

  1. Keep the veggies chopped and ready for the gravy..
  2. Make the marinade with the chicken and marinade ingrediants mentioned above. Set aside in refrigerator for 15-20 mins..
  3. Deep fry the chicken cubes in oil. Drain on a tissue..
  4. Simultaneously in another pan with 2 tsp oil, dry off ajwain and mustard seeds, garlic, then add the other veggies. Keep frying on medium flame..
  5. Now add the salt, chilli powder, soya sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce and sugar. Mix well..
  6. Add the corn flour water if you desire gravy consistency. If you desire dry chilli chicken skip this step..
  7. Simmer for 6-10 mins in the uncovered pan. Let it bubble up..
  8. Finally add the fried chicken to the sauce and mix well. Continue to cook for 2 mins on low flame. Garnish with spring onions and coriander. Serve with rice/roti. Tastes great sandwiched between bread also!.
