Ingredients of Broiled Pork Ribs and Coleslaw (of course, my way as usual 😊)
- Prepare 2 lbs of for pork short ribs.
- You need 1 Tbsp of sugar.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of Mirin.
- You need of Sauce:.
- Prepare 1/4 cup of soy sauce.
- Prepare 1/4 of of Mirin.
- Make ready 1 Tbsp of sugar.
- It’s 1 Tbsp of sesame oil.
- Take 1 tsp of minced garlic.
- It’s 1 tsp of minced ginger.
- You need of Some finely chopped green onion.
- You need of Black pepper.
- Make ready of Coleslaw:.
- Prepare 1/4 of of cabbage.
- Prepare 1/2 of of a carrot, shredded.
- Take 1 sprigs of green onion.
- You need of Some chopped cilantro.
- Make ready of Dressing:.
- You need 1 Tbsp of soy sauce.
- You need 1 Tbsp of sugar.
- Take 1 Tbsp of vinegar.
- You need 1/2 tsp of minced garlic.
Add salt and pepper to taste.Place the ribs in the oven on the top rack and let them broil for four minutes.Flip them over and broil them for another four minutes.Baste the ribs with the honey and brown sugar.

- Season the pork ribs the same way as Korean kalbi..
- Brown ribs on frying pan then put ribs in oven at 475 degrees for 30 minutes..
- Slice cabbage, carrot, add green onion and cilantro. Mix all ingredients for dressing and mix with the slaw..
- Plate and serve..
Place ribs in a well-greased shallow roasting pan.Pour butter and molasses over ribs.Remove the ribs from the marinade and place them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
I decided to marinate them just like Korean kalbi.Also what a crime to let all that great beef broth go to waste.After ribs are broiled you can add the big old left over bones back to the pot and simmer for a while then strain for some absolutly awesome broth.This method produces juicy meat with intense flavor.Boiling ribs is a good way to tenderize the meat.
