Ingredients of Seafood Cakes

  1. Take 1 lb of crab meat or shrimp (diced) or crawfish tails.
  2. Take 1/2 cup of celery.
  3. Take 1/2 cup of bell pepper.
  4. It’s 1/2 cup of green onions.
  5. Make ready 2 tsp of thym.
  6. You need 1/2 tsp of Cayenne pepper.
  7. Take 2 of large eggs lightly beaten.
  8. Make ready 1/2 cup of heavy cream or half and half.
  9. Take 1 1/2 cups of Italian bread crumbs.
  10. Take to taste of Salt and pepper.

Seafood Cakes step by step

  1. Combine all ingredients through the cream in a large mixing bowl and still until well mixed..
  2. Fold in bread crumbs and season with salt and pepper..
  3. Form into balls, flatten into cakes and cook on a buttered Skillet over medium heat until golden brown.
