Ketchup fried rice holds a special place in my heart.I remember eating this as a child with a thin layer of egg wrapped over it.If served with an egg, it's called omurice, which is a dish that's quite popular in Japan and Korea.Heat oil in a broad pan on medium flame and add chopped potatoes and onions. The ketchup rice goes so well with the egg for some reason, so it is my favourite way to eat this ketchup fried rice.
