Ingredients of Rich coconut gujiya
- You need 1 cup of maida / all-purpose flour.
- You need 1/2 cup of coconut/khopra.
- It’s 2-3 tbsp of sooji/rava rosted.
- You need 1/2 cup of powdered sugar.
- Take 4-5 of Cashew chopped.
- Take 4-5 of Almonds chopped.
- You need 2-3 of kismis(raisins).
- You need 1/4 tsp of elaichi(Cardamom) powder.
- You need as needed of Ghee.
- Prepare 3 cup of Oil for fry.
- It’s as needed of Warm water.

Rich coconut gujiya instructions
- FOR STUFFING- In a pan add ghee and add coconut powder..
- Now add rosted suji and off the flame..
- Went the above mixture become cool add powdered sugar.
- Then add in it all dry fruits..
- Then add elaichi powder mix well..
- Finally stuffing is prepared for gujiya..
- FOR DOUGH- In a large mixing bowl add maida.
- Further add hot ghee over maida..
- Now add hot water over maida and make soft dough..
- Now cover it with a cloth and rest for 30 min..
- NOW FOR MAKING GUJIYA- Now take a small sized dough and make small ball from it..
- Further, roll to slightly small puris and cut to a round shape..
- Now place a tsp of gujiya stuffing in it..
- Now stich the edges together and press slightly..
- NOTE- Take care before folding the edges as the stuffing can come out..
- Furthermore, deep fry the gujiya in oil till golden brown..
- Make sugar syrup by adding 1 and 1/2 cup sugar in a pan and 1/2 cup water..
- Stir it continuously till it become little thick..
- But don't make it too thick..
- Add saffron in it..
- Add Gujiya when Sugar syrup become little cool.
- Serve hot..
