Ingredients of Zarda
- Take 1 glass of Basmati rice soaked.
- Prepare pinch of Salt.
- Take 1/2 tsp of Orange food color.
- Make ready 6 glasses of water for boiling.
- It’s 1 cup of Sugar.
- You need 1/2 cup of ghee.
- Prepare 4 of Cloves.
- You need 3 of Cardamom.
- Take 1/2 tsp of Kewra water.
- You need 4 of Almonds crushed.

Zarda step by step
- In a wok add water let it boil for 5mins. Add salt..
- Add food color mixed it..
- Add rice and let it boil for 5mins to 7 minutes. Cook it 3/4..
- Strain it..
- Now in a wok add ghee and fry cardamom and cloves for minutes..
- Add rice and sugar..
- Add kewra water too..
- Cover it for 10 mins more. On low heat. Keep the wok on tawa. Let it simmer. Then off the flame and mixed it garnish with crushed almonds. Enjoy the taste..
