Ingredients of Batata Vada and green tea
- You need 1/2 kg of Potatoes.
- Take 4 of green chillies (finely chopped).
- Make ready 1/2 cup of onion (finely chopped).
- You need 1 tsp of ginger.
- You need 4 tbs of coriander leaves.
- Prepare 1 tsp of salt.
- Prepare 2 tbs of lemon juice.
- You need 1/2 of cumin.

- Make ready 1 cup of heaped gram flour.
- Take 1/2 tsp of salt.
- It’s 1/2 tsp of Chilli powder.
- You need of Oil for frying.
Normally it served with tea or various chutney.Dip balls in to batter and fry in hot oil.Deep fry until become golden brown.Hot serve with date chutney, Green chutney.
Batata Vada and green tea step by step
- Boil,peel and mashed potatoes.
- Mix with green chillies, ginger onion chilli powder, salt,coriander leaves, lemon juice..
- Mix well.
- Make small round balls.
- Let's prepare our batter,first if all sieve your gram flour and add, salt and chilli powder in it.I added 1tsp chopped onion as we like onions.
- Make a thick batter by adding water..
- Now heat oil on medium flame for frying balls.
- Dip potato balls into batter and deep fry.
- When balls are fried fully and light golden remove from oil.
- Serve hot with ketchup/tamarind chutney /raita /mint chutney (whatever you like) and green tea.Have good time enjoy your tea :).
