Hey everyone, welcome to our recipe page. Today I will show you a way to make a special dish, Shahi chicken. This is one of my favourite food recipe, this time i will make it a little bit tasty. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Ingredients of Shahi chicken
- You need 500 gms of Chicken.
- You need 4 of Onion paste onion.
- Make ready 4 of Green cardamom.
- Make ready 1-2 of Bay leaf.
- Take 2 tbsp of Ginger garlic paste.
- You need 2 tbsp of Khus khus paste / poppy seeds paste.
- You need 1 tbsp of Red chilli powder.
- Take 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Coriander powder.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Garam masala powder.
- It’s 2 tbsp of Cream.
- Take 1/2 cup of Clarified butter.
- You need 2-3 of Whole black pepper.
- Prepare 2-3 of Cloves.
- Take 1" of Cinnamon stick.
- Make ready 1 piece of Mace.
- Make ready 1 of Black cardamom.
- It’s to taste of Salt.
In the same pot,add oil,chicken and mix well until changes color.Add ginger garlic paste,mix well and fry until light golden.Shahi Chicken Chaap is a Rich Traditional Mughlai Preparation.It is best accompanied by Indian Naan, Paratha, Pulao and even biriyani.
Shahi chicken instructions
- Heat one tbsp clarified butter in a pan.
- Add chicken pieces and saute for 10 mins.and strain it,.
- Again heat clarified butter in a pan..
- Add bay leaf,green cardamom,black cardamom,mace,cloves,whole black pepper and cinnamon to crackle..
- Add onion paste and fry till brown..
- Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,coriande rpowder,garam masala powder and khus khus paste and saute for 4 - 5 mins..
- Add chicken pieces and mix well..
- Add one cup of water and cook cover till 15 - 20 mins.
- Add cream and mix well.
- Serve hot with rice.
