Ingredients of Pinakbet
- It’s 4-5 of garlic cloves; roughly chopped.
- It’s Half of an onion; cut into wedges.
- You need 1 of tomato; chopped.
- You need 1/3 of rd kabocha squash; chopped into 1” cubes.
- Make ready 1/2 lb of pork.
- You need 4 tbsp of shrimp paste (Bagoong).
- Make ready 10 of okra.
- Prepare 1 handful of green beans; cut into 2” pieces.
- You need of Chicken broth.

- Add in the shrimp paste. Note: traditionally, this recipe calls for Bagoong - purple shrimp paste. I used Thai shrimp paste bc that’s what I had..
- Add in your kabocha squash and cook for about 2 mins. I added 1/2 cup of chicken broth..
- Then your okra..
- Then your green beans..
- Top with salt & pepper, and voila! Enjoy :).
