Ingredients of Sooji Chocolate Peda

  1. Make ready 1 cup of sooji/Rava/Semolina.
  2. Take 1/2 cup of desi ghee.
  3. Take 1/2 cup of sugar.
  4. Take 1 tbs of cocoa powder.
  5. It’s 150 ml. of Warm milk.
  6. You need 3-4 of green Cardamom(crushed).
  7. Take 2 tbsp of milk powder.
  8. Make ready Few of white chips for garnishing.

I made a kesar peda too.But i am telling you, this pedas never came close to my real milk pedas.Serving suggestion: sooji oats dhokla can be served as a snack or breakfast as such or with chutney, ketchup on side.This can be packed into box for school snack or picnic snack because this tastes.

Sooji Chocolate Peda step by step

  1. Heat up a pan, add desi ghee. Now add sooji and roast it for 2 mins by stirring continuously(don't change the color of sooji).
  2. Now add 2 tbsp milk powder and mix well.Add warm milk and keep your flame on low..
  3. Add sugar and cocoa powder too..Keep stirring so that no lumps should form.Soon batter will be thick in consistency..
  4. The batter will look a little shiny and will leave the pan corners..it means it's done. Now add crushed Cardamom and give it a good mix..
  5. Now Switch off the flame. And cover it for 10 minutes so that sooji will be more soft. After 10 mins check. Take the mixture out in a bowl and allow it to cool down a bit..
  6. Now the mixture is cool enough. Knead it once more than wet your hands and start making pedals out of that. Keep one white chip in between(Any dry fruits also can be used)..
  7. Keep them in a plate and prepare rest of the peda from the mixture..
  8. Your delicious sooji chocolate pedas are now react to enjoy..
