Ingredients of Mushroom Jerky
- You need 250 grams of oyster mushroom ,today i use only mushroom stalks.
- It’s 1 tbsp of sesame seeds.
- Make ready 1 tbsp of sesame oil.
- Prepare 1 1/2 tbsp of oyster sauce.
- Prepare 1/2 tbsp of soy sauce.
- Make ready 1/3 tbsp of brown sugar.
- You need 1/4 tbsp of black pepper.
- You need 1/2 tbsp of dark soy sauce.
While oven is preheating, remove mushroom mixture from processor.Place on a flat surface and shape into a thin rectangle.Reseal the bag and toss together until mushrooms look coated in the marinade.Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mushroom Jerky instructions
- I use oyster mushroom stalks today (left from make cream of mushroom soup ) , you can use a whole mushroom ..first clean and drain.
- Tear or cut to make it prefer size.
- Seasoning.
- Mix well,squeeze to make it soft.
- To make it more dry easy to deep fried in next step,i lay single layer and bake it at 200c for 10 mins ,flip on half way ..or sun dried if you are in sunny area.
- Deep fried on medium heat until crispy ,serve hot as snack or vegetarian snack (cut off oyster sauce ,add more soy sauce ).
The mushrooms stay pretty chewy (no crunch except for some of the crispy ends); this method is a great option if you don't have a dehydrator.Process until chopped in small pieces.Add soy sauce, oil, garlic powder, onion powder, sugar, and wheat gluten.
