The traditional, evergreen mithai - Khoya Peda ( Mawa Peda) has been made easy and quick using readymade mawa. This Instant Mava Peda is quicker than most other pedas but retains its authenticity and traditional charm.
Here is the best “Instant Mawa Peda” recipe we have found until now. This is gonna smell and look delicious.
Ingredients of Instant Mawa Peda
- Prepare 150 gm of Mawa/Khoya (unsweetened).
- Prepare 1/2 tbsp of Sugar.
- You need pinch of saffron strands.
- Prepare Pinch of Cardamom Powder.
- Make ready As needed of Dryfruits for Garnishing.

Instant Mawa Peda step by step
- Heat a kadai, add Mawa to it. Stir the Mawa continuously to avoid sticking or burning..
- After 5 minutes Mawa will start releasing the fat and will come together. Remove it in a plate and let it cool for 5 minutes..
- After 5 minutes knead the Mawa into a smooth dough and add sugar as required. Knead again..
- Take a small portion and roll into peda and make a dent in middle and garnish with your choice of Dryfruit..
You can make the milk powder peda without condensed milk.This helps you add sugar according to your taste.Once you have unsweetened mawa ready, making sweets is not a big deal.
