- Take 1 of onion thinly sliced.

- Take 3 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil or any oil of your choice.

- Drain tofu between paper towels trying to get most of the water out..
- Cut tofu into 1/4 inch slices. I usually get 4 good slices and one slice that's a little thinner..
- In a large skillet heat some of the oil. Fry tofu until golden brown on both sides. (see pic).
- In a seperate small skillet add oil. Fry onions to desired consistency..
- When tofu is done drain extra fluid from skillet..
- Add onions and bbq sauce. Let it simmer on low to just above low heat for 10 minutes..
- Serve on bread or buns with any toppings you prefer..
