Ingredients of Moong daal kadhi chawal
- Prepare 1/2 cup of Moong daal (roasted).

- Soak roasted moong daal for 2-3 hours then grind it into smooth paste..
- Now heat a pan, pour moong daal paste in it then add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and water as per your requirement and mix it well..
- Simmer it for 45-50 minutes and cook it well..
- Now add tamarind paste in it and cook it for another 5-8 minutes on medium flame and switch off the flame..
- Now heat oil in a tempering pan, add black mustard seeds, asafoetida, dry red chilli and bay leaves and allow it crackle..
- Now pour it in the moong daal kadhi..
- Your moong daal kadhi is ready to serve now..
- You cab serve it with boiled rice..
