Ingredients of Afang soup
- You need of Okazi/afang leave.
- It’s of Water leave.
- Prepare of Palm oil.
- Make ready of Beef or any other protein of your choice.
- Take of Pomo,dried fish,stock fish,pepper, onion.
- Prepare of Crayfish, seasoning cubes, salt.
- It’s of Isam/periwinkle is optional.

Afang soup instructions
- Wash,drain and slice water leave.
- Grind/pound the okazi.
- Boil the beef and Pomo with salt, seasoning cubes,diced Onion with a little quantity of water as water leaves contain water.
- When meat is done,add dry fish and cook for another 5minutes.
- Add Palm oil, crayfish and pepper and allow to boil.
- When the mixture starts boiling,add the okazi,water leaves and periwinkle.
- When the okazi leaves have softened and the water has dried up a bit,add salt to taste and allow to simmer for about 5minutes.
- Serve with pounded yam,fufu semo etc.
