Ingredients of Crunchy Fish & Chips with Homemade Tartar Sauce (in english & bahasa)
- You need of Fried Fish.
- You need 1 kg of dory fish fillet / fillet ikan dori.
- Take 1/2 kg of plain flour / tepung terigu.
- Make ready 1 can of soda water / air soda.
- It’s 3 pinch of sea salt / garam.
- Make ready 1 dash of grind blackpepper / lada hitam giling kasar.
- Take 1 liter of vegetable oil / minyak goreng.
- It’s of French Fries.
- Make ready 1 kg of frozen french fries / kentang goreng instan.
- Take of Tartar Sauce.
- Take 1 cup of mayonaise.
- Make ready 2 slice of chopped pickles / acar timun botolan dicincang kecil.
- You need 1 tbsp of pickles juice / air acar timun botolan.
- You need 1 tsp of chopped parsley / seledri cincang.
Crunchy Fish & Chips with Homemade Tartar Sauce (in english & bahasa) instructions
- Divide fillet to 6 slices / Bagi fillet ikan menjadi 6 potong.
- Sprinkle salt & blackpepper to taste onto fish fillet, set aside / Taburkan garam & lada hitam secukupnya pada fillet ikan, sisihkan.
- Divide flour into 2 different plates / Bagi tepung terigu dalam 2 piring yg berbeda.
- Put only salt & blackpeper to the first plate, mix well / Masukan hanya garam & lada hitam dalam piring pertama, aduk rata.
- Put soda water to the second plate, and also add salt & black pepper to taste, mix well, set aside / Masukan air soda ke dalam piring tepung kedua, juga tambahkan garam & lada hitam secukupnya, aduk rata, sisihkan.
- Deep fry the french fries until browned, lift & drain, add salt to taste / Goreng kentang sampai kecoklatan, angkat & tiriskan, tambahkan garam secukupnya.
- Slice by slice, put fillet into the dry flour (first plate) first, wrap it with flour well, go to creamy flour (second plate), also wrap it well, then fry it in a medium heat oil until browned / Potong demi potong, masukan fillet dalam tepung yg kering (piring pertama), lumuri dengan tepung secukupnya, lalu masukan dalam tepung yg basah (piring kedua), juga lumuri dengan tepung secukupnya, lalu goreng dalam minyak panas sampai kecoklatan.
- Meanwhile, mix all tartar sauce ingredients well, set aside / Sementara itu, campurkan dengan rata semua bahan-bahan saus tartar, sisihkan.
- Serve fried fish with french fries & tartar sauce as a side dish in each plate / Sajikan ikan yg telah digoreng bersama kentang goreng & saus tartar sebagai sampingan dalam masing-masing piring.
