Ingredients of Namak pare
- Prepare 1 cup of maida(all purpose flour).
- Take 2 tbsp of semolina.
- You need 1/4 tbsp of black pepper powder.
- Make ready 2 tbsp of ghee.
- Prepare As needed of Oil for deep frying.
- You need To taste of salt.
- You need As needed of Water.

Namak pare step by step
- Take a big bowl add maida, semolina, salt, black pepper powder, ghee and mux well. Now add water in a small quantities and bind stiff dough after that knead it untill smooth surface about 2 minutes..
- Divide it into two equal portions and give each portion a round shape. Take one portion and place it over rolling board..
- Roll it out into approx 1/4 inch thick circle having about 7-8 inch diameter. Cut it's edges from all sides with greased sharp knife and give it a square shape..
- Now cut it vertically into one inch wide strips with knife. Cut them into halves by cutting it horizontally from the middle.make multiple small sized long pricks using spoon top or knife..
- Take a big pan and heat oil. When oil is medium hot put 4 - 5 strips and fry it on low flame untill golden colour in both sides. Now namak pare is ready to eat it's vry crispy serve with tea or hot coffee..
