Ingredients of Whosaynas Achaar Murgh

  1. Prepare 2 of Chicken (normal pieces).
  2. Make ready 3 of Onions (chopped).
  3. Take 1 tbsp of Garlic (pounded).
  4. Take 1/2 tsp of Ginger (paste).
  5. It’s 3 tsp of oil.
  6. Take 1 1/2 cup of Yogurt.
  7. Take 1 tbsp of Lemon juice.
  8. You need 6-7 of Mora Marcha/Chilli Peppers (slitted) or Green Chillies.
  9. Take To taste of Salt.
  10. Make ready 1/2 tsp of Kashmiri Chilli powder.
  11. Take 1/2 tsp of Chilli powder.
  12. It’s 1/4 tsp of Turmeric powder.
  13. It’s of Achaar(pickle) Masala.
  14. Take 1/2 tsp of Fenugreek seeds.
  15. Take 1 tbsp of Rai kuria (splitted mustard seeds).
  16. It’s 1 tbsp of Fennel seeds.
  17. Take 1 tbsp of Coriander seeds.

This version of mango pickles (aam ka achaar) is from the northern state of Uttar Pradesh and is often eaten with stuffed parathas bread and yogurt.It's important to use green mangos, not ripe.Murgh Afghani is an exotic chicken dish cooked in a unique style.Here chicken pieces are stuffed in spicy and tasty mixture of minced chicken, egg and spices.

Whosaynas Achaar Murgh instructions

  1. In a pan slightly roast fenugreek, coriander and fennel seeds, then grind coarsely not powder it) add splitted mustard seeds and mix all well.
  2. Deseed the chilli peppers or green chillies and keep aside.
  3. In a bowl put half achaar masala, little salt and add lemon juice then mix well.
  4. Fill slitted green chillies with the masala and keep aside.
  5. The rest of achaar masala put in another bowl, add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt and mix well, i added one tablespoon of ready achaar masala too.
  6. In a wok put oil keep on flame and add onions and braise do not let it brown.
  7. Add the achaar masala mixture.
  8. Add the chicken and fry until done.
  9. Add ginger and garlic, braise it.
  10. Add yogurt and stir well.
  11. Add salt as required, and add stuffed green chilies on top of the chicken and cook till chicken is done or don’t put chilli peppers till chicken almost done then simmer.
  12. Cook till the chicken is done.
  13. Remove from flame garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
