Ingredients of Tarta de Puerro/ Leek Quiche
- Make ready 5 of leeks.
- It’s 1 of onion(optional).
- Make ready 2 cups of flour.
- Take 1 of tbln salt.
- Take 1/4 cup of vegetable oil.
- It’s 3/4 cup of water.
- Take 1 cup of milk.
- It’s of Egg Filling:.
- You need 3 of eggs.
- It’s 4 tablespoons of Parmesan.
Tarta de Puerro/ Leek Quiche instructions
- Preheat oven 350F/180C.
- Remove top stalk, and slice leek in half then wash thoroughly..
- Chop leeks.
- Chop medium onion add to skillet along side leeks on medium heat.
- Add oil/water to flour and salt..
- Mix in a measuring container the water and oil and a little yellow food coloring, knead with hands..
- Knead the dough and let it rest 20 minutes..
- Add cup of milk to leeks & onions, let simmer for 15 minutes.
- 3 egg and 4 heaping tablespoons of parmesan.
- Once milk has reduced add egg & cheese mixture..
- Stretch out dough and in the baking pan it goes..
- Add mixture to baking pan and flatten out evenly..
- Place in oven of 350f for 20 minutes..
