Ingredients of Tarta de Puerro/ Leek Quiche

  1. Make ready 5 of leeks.
  2. It’s 1 of onion(optional).
  3. Make ready 2 cups of flour.
  4. Take 1 of tbln salt.
  5. Take 1/4 cup of vegetable oil.
  6. It’s 3/4 cup of water.
  7. Take 1 cup of milk.
  8. It’s of Egg Filling:.
  9. You need 3 of eggs.
  10. It’s 4 tablespoons of Parmesan.

Tarta de Puerro/ Leek Quiche instructions

  1. Preheat oven 350F/180C.
  2. Remove top stalk, and slice leek in half then wash thoroughly..
  3. Chop leeks.
  4. Chop medium onion add to skillet along side leeks on medium heat.
  5. Add oil/water to flour and salt..
  6. Mix in a measuring container the water and oil and a little yellow food coloring, knead with hands..
  7. Knead the dough and let it rest 20 minutes..
  8. Add cup of milk to leeks & onions, let simmer for 15 minutes.
  9. 3 egg and 4 heaping tablespoons of parmesan.
  10. Once milk has reduced add egg & cheese mixture..
  11. Stretch out dough and in the baking pan it goes..
  12. Add mixture to baking pan and flatten out evenly..
  13. Place in oven of 350f for 20 minutes..
