Ingredients of Angie's Red Jambalaya

  1. It’s 1 large of Onion.
  2. Make ready 3 can of Tomato paste.
  3. Prepare 2 lb of Favorite sausage (I like andouille).
  4. You need 3 cup of White long grain rice.
  5. Make ready 3 cup of Water.
  6. It’s 1 of Salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  7. Take 1 of Handful of parsley or so.
  8. Prepare 1 stick of Celery.

Angie's Red Jambalaya instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Slice sausage and onions.
  3. In a Dutch oven add all ingredients, mix well so that the tomato paste is well blended, and cover.
  4. Bake until rice in tender I check after the first 45 minutes, stir and place back in oven.
  5. Some times you need to add another 1/2 cup of water but not always.
  6. If your rice ever comes out too mushy when baking jambalaya try uncovering it for a little while.
