Ingredients of Skunks gumbo
- Take of gumbo but minus the rice.
- Prepare 1 1/2 lb of sausage, I used four star from Georgia.
- Make ready 12 oz of shrimp deviened tail off.
- Take 7 oz of crab meat, looked over for shell pieces.
- Prepare 2 tsp of cayenne pepper powder.
- Take 1 large of bell pepper, chopped coarsely.

- Take 2 can of okra and tomatoes, I used Gloria Harvest (15 ounces each).
- Prepare 2 tbsp of file.
- You need 2 tbsp of minced garlic.
- Make ready 2 tbsp of salt.
- Take 2 of bay leaves (laurel leaves).
- Make ready 2 tbsp of ground black pepper.
- Make ready 1/3 cup of all purpose flour.
- Prepare 3 cup of water.
- You need 2 stalks of celery chopped 3/8 (9mm) in length.
- It’s 1/2 cup of bacon fat rendered.
- You need 1/2 stick of butter (2 ounces).
- You need 2 tbsp of worchestershire sauce.
- It’s 2 tbsp of white distilled vinegar.
- Prepare of rice.
- You need 5 cups of long grain rice.
- You need 1 1/2 quart of water.
- Make ready 2 tbsp of cayenne pepper powder.
- Take 2 tsp of salt.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of ground black pepper.
- It’s 1 can of chicken broth or beef your choice (15 ounces).
- Prepare 1/2 stick of butter.
