- It’s 1 1/2 cup of Flour.
- Take 1/2 tsp of salt.
- Take 1 pinch of sugar.
- Take 1 of warm water.

Laccha parata step by step
- To one cup flour add baking powder, salt, sugar, 2 tbsp oil and mix.
- Add warm water little by little and make a soft dough (should not be too sticky).
- Apply oil to the dough surface, cover and leave for 25 minutes.
- Divide the dough into four parts and make balls with each part.
- Roll out each ball as thin as you possibly could by sprinkling dry flour to it.
- Apply oil onto the rolled surface with a brush and sprinkle dry flour over it.
- Lift 1/3 inches using fingers and fold backwards making strips.
- Fold the whole parata in this way until a long strip is formed.
- Hold the two ends of the strip and give it a little swing.
- Roll the strip into a swiss roll shape.
- Dust it with flour and flattened it ( should not be so thin ).
- Add a drop of oil onto a pan and keep the parata in it.
- Heat each side until slightly brown.
- Repeat the procedure to make parata with the rest.
