- Prepare 2 cup of wheat flour.
- It’s 1/4 cup of yoghurt.
- Take 1/4 cup of oil.
- Make ready 1 cup of methi or fenugreek leaves.
- You need 1 tsp of coriander powder.
- Make ready 1 tbsp of salt or as per your taste.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of sesame seed.
- It’s 1 tbsp of chilli powder.
- Make ready 1/2 tsp of caram seed.
- It’s 1/2 tsp of garlic paste.
- You need 1/2 tsp of chilli paste.

- Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take wheat flour.
- Also add Salt, Red chili powder, turmeric, sesame seeds, carom seeds..
- Add Garlic and chilli paste.
- Add 1/4 Cup oil and mix it well..
- Add 1 cup Fenugreek leaves and 1/4 cup yoghurt and mix all together well..
- Add water little by little and make soft dough..
- Add 2 tsp of oil and knead the dough for 5 more minutes and rest for 10 min..
- Now pinch a medium sized ball dough, roll and flatten it..
- Also dust with some wheat flour when needed..
- Roll it in a thin circle like chapathi or paratha.
- Now on a hot tawa place the rolled thepla and cook for a minute..
- When the base is partly cooked, flip the methi thepla also brush oil / ghee and press slightly..
- Cook both side well..
- Finally, serve methi thepla with raita and pickle..
